The federal government has grant and loan funding for community facilities that benefit the general public. In 2020, an effort was made to reach out to Hopi Villages and Offices to help identify the community facilities needs throughout Hopi.
This project was dramatically impacted by the office closures resulting from the pandemic. Most of the facility identification work still took place at Upper Moenkopi Village, the Village of Moencopi (Lower) and Yuwehloo Pahki Community.
